About the Role

The MGM Resorts International Data Asset Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of the Pricing Team's data assets. The position involves driving insights that fuel business strategies and revenue growth within a dynamic and entertainment-focused hospitality environment. The role emphasizes collaboration, data governance, and advanced analytics to support innovative pricing models and revenue management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business users, transforming data capabilities into actionable insights.
  • Advocate for customer needs in data-related decisions, aligning strategies with revenue optimization goals.
  • Develop and enforce data governance standards, ensuring compliance and data consistency across platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovative pricing models and revenue management initiatives.
  • Manage the lifecycle of organizational data assets, maintaining their accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead workshops, gather stakeholder feedback, and continuously improve data practices.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to identify opportunities that enhance data quality and business performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data asset management, governance frameworks, or analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Proficiency with data integration, visualization, and quality assurance tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with hospitality and revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, LMS, ACRC, Passkey) is a plus.
