About the Role

The Data Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and management of data products within the organization. They work to ensure that data solutions meet business needs and drive value, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the lifecycle of data products from conception to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Coordinate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.
Define and prioritize features and enhancements for data products.
Monitor and analyze the performance of data products to ensure they deliver value.

Requirements

Experience in product management, preferably with data or analytics products.
Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and data management concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineers and analysts.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with data visualization tools and BI platforms.
Background in data science or analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Proven experience in data product management or related roles.
