Data Science Manager Marketing & Strategy

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of data science projects across several clients in the US, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Apply data science techniques to complex marketing problems including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, pricing strategy, and customer experience enhancement.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Data Science centers, and the US Data Science Lead to develop proposals and identify new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand Sia Partners' Data Science offerings to existing clients.
• Build and maintain external professional networks to generate new revenue opportunities.
• Support marketing campaigns, contribute to external positioning through blogs, social networks, and develop methodologies and tools.
• Lead recruitment initiatives, advise on market positioning, and support career development of data science team members.
• Mentor colleagues, facilitate learning, and enhance the team's technical and consulting skills.
• Develop use cases such as CRM analytics, customer segmentation, predictive modeling, NLP for customer feedback, pricing and product analytics, open data integration, and operations optimization.
• Contribute to the firm's visibility through publications, sector blogs, studies, press releases, and marketing events.
• Support business development by defining client needs and participating in commercial activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in applying data science solutions to marketing problems, including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and personalized marketing.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Expertise in Python, R, SQL, cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills from conception to completion within tight deadlines.
• Deep understanding of marketing challenges and familiarity with sectors such as luxury, FMCG, energy, banking, and insurance.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Generative AI and advanced digital solutions.
• Knowledge of open data and geomarketing data integration.
• Experience in developing methodologies, publications, or thought leadership in data science.
