Data Science Manager Marketing & Strategy

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of data science projects across several clients in the US, ensuring successful implementation and outcomes.
• Apply data science techniques to complex marketing problems including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, pricing strategy, and customer experience enhancement.
• Collaborate with Business Units and Data Science centers to develop proposals for new opportunities and expand Sia's Data Science offerings.
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and drive new revenue streams through external networking.
• Support marketing campaigns, contribute to external positioning via social networks, blogs, and develop methodologies and tools.
• Lead recruitment initiatives, advise on market positioning, and support career development of data science team members.
• Mentor colleagues, facilitate learning, and enhance the team's technical and consulting skills.
• Develop use cases such as CRM analytics, customer personalization, NLP-based customer feedback analysis, pricing and product analytics, open data integration, and operations optimization.
• Contribute to internal activities including training, research, publications, and marketing events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in applying data science solutions to marketing problems, including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and personalized marketing.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Expertise in Python, R, SQL, cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills from conception to completion.
• Deep understanding of marketing challenges and familiarity with sectors such as luxury, FMCG, energy, banking, and insurance.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI models, NLP, and generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of geomarketing data and retail network performance analysis.
• Experience in business development and client engagement in a consulting setting.

Qualifications
