Decision Scientist, Manager, Business & Healthcare Intelligence

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Be an expert in healthcare intelligence data sources such as patient volume, procedure volume, claims data, competitor intelligence, and pricing, and synthesize complex data sets to inform business decisions.
• Contribute to the future state of business and healthcare intelligence by curating purpose-built data, identifying and vetting new data sources, ensuring data accessibility and scalability for analytic, marketing, and sales initiatives, and evaluating AI-driven tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Design and implement a repeatable market modeling framework leveraging multiple data sources to assess opportunities for indication or audience expansion, and perform ROI analysis to inform marketing investment decisions.
• Translate complex data into impactful insights and presentations, tailoring findings to the audience, and transforming analysis into compelling storylines to influence decisions.
• Help define and execute the approach to competitive intelligence.
• Co-manage healthcare intelligence vendor relationships with the Global HEMA team, oversee data vendor transitions, onboarding, and training for marketing stakeholders.
• Partner with Business Units to assess data needs, develop tailored solutions, and work with IT and Analytics teams to translate technical findings and define technical requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Consulting, Business Strategy, Marketing Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working within Snowflake or similar analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience with Python.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to listen and assess pain points of BU partners.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
• Good understanding of data architecture including ingestion, storage, and consumption.
• Experience with healthcare claims data for marketing decisions and strategic planning.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SFDC.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on analysis quality and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams.
