About the Role

2020 Companies has a full-time remote Regional Sales Manager opportunity representing our client, Dell. This role is responsible for the direct oversight of the Dell Field Sales Managers (FSM) in the assigned Region, reporting directly to the National Manager (NM). The RSM will motivate, direct, and coordinate the sales and merchandising activities of their assigned FSMs to drive retailer advocacy and product sellout. The position involves hiring, onboarding, coaching, and building partnerships with retail partners, as well as reporting and tracking performance metrics to improve results. The RSM is also responsible for ensuring regional compliance, including payroll, timekeeping, FSM cadence, and visit reporting, and must travel within the region regularly to build relationships and implement strategies to drive sales, engagement, and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and motivate the Dell Field Sales Managers (FSMs) within the assigned region to meet or exceed sales and merchandising goals.
Hire, onboard, coach, and provide performance feedback to FSMs, including training on sales techniques, products, and policies.
Build and maintain excellent relationships within the region, with clients and retailers, to understand and exceed mutual goals.
Manage, coordinate, and support FSM activities, including scheduling, visits, and reporting, to ensure performance targets are met.
Use storytelling and presentations (via PowerPoint) to recap team performance and productivity for internal and client partners.
Manage a quarterly contest budget and execute contests, ensuring the integrity of prizing qualifications.
Contribute to launch-related activities and assist in short-term projects as needed.
Ensure regional compliance with payroll, timekeeping, and visit reporting procedures.
Travel within the region approximately 30% of the year to build relationships and implement strategies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
3 to 5 years of prior management experience in retail, merchandising, training, or field marketing.
Experience managing multiple units or teams preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to create and deliver presentations and communicate effectively.
Strong leadership skills with solution-oriented, professional verbal and written communication.
Must have a home office with broadband Internet connectivity.
Ability to travel approximately 30% of the year and work flexible hours.
Infield presence may be required.

Nice to Have

Multi-unit management experience.
Experience in retail, merchandising, training, or field marketing of people and products.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
