About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Consults with business leaders to understand business needs.
• Provides creative input in the strategic development of all types of communication and marketing materials and offers design efficiency recommendations to help achieve goals.
• Collaborates and partners with business leaders and all areas of marketing to ensure a consistent message.
• Develops creative ideas and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Originates design layout and executes creative plans.
• Uses graphic design software applications to produce printed/digital sales and marketing materials, multimedia solutions, and/or interactive experiences.
• Supports business initiatives and identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Acts as project lead for all complex assignments.
• May provide guidance or direction to team members.
• May consult directly with clients and team members on all projects in progress within the department.
• Ensures design materials meet internal and external business, regulatory and legal standards, and follow appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes.
• Designs collateral for traditionally printed material (manuals, brochures, fliers, postcards, etc.) and/or digital material (presentations, online publications, training material, digital fliers/manuals, etc.)

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.
• Proficiency in graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop strongly preferred.
• Ability to create unique, fresh, engaging, and relevant materials for digital platform strongly preferred.
• Understanding of target audiences and the type of content they consume, as well as knowing what kind of content works best on different platforms strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in writing and interpersonal skills, ability to work in team environment, attention to detail and strong organizational skills strongly preferred.
• Experience in health care or managed care strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
