About the Role

The Digital Communications Specialist will assist the Web and Digital Marketing Communications Manager with the creation of digital and print assets, including social media graphics and posting on various social channels, digital flyers, photography and videography, and some print deliverables. The position supports the communications team with projects as needed at the University of South Carolina, Columbia campus, within the School of Law's Department of LAW Event Management.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Web and Digital Marketing Communications Manager with the creation of digital and print assets.
Create social media graphics and post on various social channels.
Design digital flyers and produce photography and videography content.
Support the communications team with various projects as needed.

Requirements

Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Intermediate photography, videography, and editing skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet department needs.
Ability to assist with digital and print asset creation.

Nice to Have

Experience in digital marketing or communications.
Knowledge of social media management tools.
Previous experience working in an academic or institutional setting.

Qualifications

Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
