Job Description

About the Role

The Digital Content Specialist contributes to the company's success by coordinating and implementing communications initiatives to support the Genova Diagnostics brand through online tools and resources such as email, web content, advertising, digital imagery, and web analytics. The role involves managing digital content, website updates, email campaigns, and social media coordination within a clinical laboratory services organization dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating complex chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write social posts, emails, and other content to engage and maintain an audience, contributing to long-term brand loyalty.
  • Manage and update the website using Bloomreach CMS and basic HTML/CSS to keep content current.
  • Assist in the design and deployment of marketing emails, including creating email templates with HTML/CSS.
  • Contribute to the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms.
  • Update and manage a centralized database of product instructions for internal and external use.
  • Partner with project owners to execute projects from start to finish and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Manage assigned projects from idea generation, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in achieving company goals by executing marketing strategies and tactics, including coordinating with staff to promote products and events.
  • Prepare and track budgets, monitor spending to maximize return on investment.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Marketo.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Understanding of web development, including content, design, and functionality.
  • Marketing automation experience (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot).
  • Basic HTML knowledge and functional skills.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Familiarity with social media networks (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with CRM systems is beneficial.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with graphic design skills.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in marketing, business, or technology.
  • Three years of related experience and/or training.
