About the Role

The Digital Experience Analyst at Platinum Technologies is a critical role within the Office of Public Affairs Digital (OPAD) team, responsible for transforming web, social, and email engagement data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive strategic decisions and improve digital experiences for ITA stakeholders and customers. The role involves serving as a connection between analytics, content, design, and product, providing data, insights, and metrics to enhance usability, performance, and user satisfaction. The position is hybrid, based in downtown DC, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Platinum Technologies is a Northern Virginia-based solutions firm specializing in Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Digital Services for the Public Sector, emphasizing professional development, technical expertise, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead web, social, and email channel analytics collection, interpretation, and reporting efforts.
Run regular analysis using Siteimprove to identify patterns, diagnose anomalies, discover gaps, and inform strategic decisions.
Translate data into clear, prioritized recommendations for product owners, designers, strategists, stakeholders, and leadership.
Serve as analytics liaison to product owners, digital leads, and content teams.
Develop dashboards and reports that inform roadmap and content decisions and support strategic decision making.
Deliver weekly/monthly insight summaries and trend analyses.
Recommend and/or validate changes to information architecture (IA), user experience (UX), and content.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics with design and content strategies.
Support UX testing and optimization with actionable insights.
Ensure data is used to inform, prioritize, and validate, not just justify.
Develop hypotheses based on data and work with stakeholders to implement and evaluate UX/content improvements.
Support A/B tests and optimization projects with analytics baselines and post-test performance evaluations.
Collaborate on cross-team initiatives involving surveys, feedback tools, and chatbots by providing insights and recommendations based on analytics and behavior data.

Requirements

Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Proficiency in Power BI.
Familiarity with Siteimprove and Sprinklr (or other enterprise social media analytics).
Experience with GovDelivery (or other bulk email analytics).
Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
Experience with Crazy Egg, Hotjar, or similar behavioral tools.
Familiarity with Drupal reporting.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Familiarity and experience with usability testing methods.
Experience and familiarity with online survey tools such as Medallia.
Experience utilizing A/B testing design and analysis.
Deep understanding of user behavior across digital platforms.
Insightful about the potential and limitations of quantitative and qualitative data.
Curiosity to explore data to find meaningful insights.
Storytelling ability to explain data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-functional and collaborative working style, especially with content, UX, and product teams.
Ability to strategically link measurement to mission and organizational goals.
