About the Role

Aperian is a company that provides cross-cultural training and learning content to foster seamless collaboration and greater innovation for global teams. As a Digital Learning Content Specialist, you will manage, shape, and evolve content that helps people thrive across cultures and workplaces, creating interactive learning experiences and ensuring resources are accurate, relevant, and inspiring for a global audience. The role involves managing cultural guides, developing self-paced courses, assessments, and live workshops to equip leaders and teams to succeed in culturally complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of GlobeSmart Guides and other learning content.
Managing content in Drupal and related systems, ensuring updates reflect inclusivity, evolving workforce norms, and global relevance.
Using AI tools to research and curate expert input to create new and refreshed content.
Designing exercises, quizzes, activities, and multimedia elements to make learning interactive and impactful.
Partnering with product and client success teams to incorporate learner and client feedback.
Leading custom or sponsored content projects, including client communication and project management.
Coordinating the development of new cultural content—scheduling, interviewing, writing, editing, and launching.

Requirements

Proven experience researching, synthesizing, writing, and editing from multiple sources.
Comfort using AI tools to ideate, generate, and repurpose content.
Able to work independently with strong project management and organizational skills.
High technical aptitude and curiosity for learning new tools and platforms.
Familiar with Google Applications, Microsoft Office, project planning tools (i.e., Asana), and virtual communication and learning platforms (i.e., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Experience developing learning assets in formats such as PPT, video, or case studies.
Curiosity about global issues and a passion for crafting culturally sensitive, globally relevant content.
Excellent command of the English language, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience working remotely in multicultural or global environments.
Familiarity with adult learning theory and inclusive instructional design.
Background in international affairs, intercultural studies, anthropology, political science, history, or global business.
Exposure to SCORM, xAPI, or learning analytics.
Working knowledge of tools like Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or LMS platforms.
Knowledge of different project management methodologies.

Qualifications

Experience developing learning assets in formats such as PPT, video, or case studies.
