About the Role

The Digital Marketing and Automation Specialist at Bob's Heating & Air Conditioning is responsible for supporting marketing and sales operations through the development and management of digital campaigns, marketing automation, and audience targeting initiatives. This role requires advanced use of HubSpot CRM and related marketing tools to build workflows, manage email campaigns, and maintain customer data. The position involves project coordination for marketing initiatives, digital advertising, and delivering data-driven insights to guide strategy and measure performance. The company is a family-owned, regionally prominent HVAC business serving Puget Sound since 1957, known for quality service and being a leading employer in Western Washington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize workflows, automated email sequences, SMS campaigns, push notifications, and customer surveys using HubSpot CRM.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee social media publishing through HubSpot and related tools.
  • Maintain organized and accurate contact lists, ensuring effective lead management across lifecycle stages.
  • Plan, track, and oversee marketing initiatives using project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or ClickUp to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales, creative, and marketing teams to align messaging and execution.
  • Assist in planning, execution, and optimization of paid campaigns on Google and Meta platforms.
  • Track campaign results, adjust budgets accordingly, and report on ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance, lead flow, and customer data using Google Analytics to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop and refine customer personas and target markets based on engagement and behavior.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards, providing actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing with strong proficiency in HubSpot.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience using Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with creative and sales teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for daily administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in SEM and social media advertising (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite).
  • Experience coordinating or managing outside media and advertising agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret dashboards, KPIs, and audience data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support multiple brands concurrently.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or similar.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • Strong written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone and interpersonal etiquette.
  • Analytical thinker with data-driven insight application skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, network, and represent the company professionally.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot (preferred 1 year).
  • Experience in digital marketing (preferred 1 year).
  • Experience in social media marketing (preferred 1 year).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
