About the Role

The Kindle Devices team at Amazon is seeking a creative, collaborative, and results-oriented marketing leader to define and drive marketing strategies and campaigns for their full portfolio of launched products, including Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Colorsoft, and Kindle Scribe. This role involves leading diverse teams across product, sales, analytics, brand, and content engagement to deliver measurable business impact while maintaining high standards of creative and strategic excellence. The position requires operating both strategically and tactically, leveraging data insights, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment with high visibility to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use data and insights to develop and implement marketing campaigns, optimize and evaluate campaign performance, and have an experimentation mindset.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively across a large, cross-functional organization including centralized Marketing and Brand teams essential to your products' success.
  • Plan a robust A/B testing strategy for email and other onsite channels to continually improve performance.
  • Experiment with different messaging, targeting, and creative approaches to enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing creative, including website content, social media posts, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze customer cohorts and behaviors to develop targeted marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and reading subscription growth.
  • Leverage customer insights to refine and optimize lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, email marketing, and e-commerce to ensure Kindle devices remain at the forefront of innovative marketing strategies.
  • Proactively recommend new tactics and tools to improve performance and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership.
  • Experience with A/B Testing or Multi-Variate Testing or both.
