Digital Media Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engaging social media content that aligns with brand messaging and goals across platforms including GMB, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
• Create visually appealing graphics, posts, and stories for various social media platforms.
• Manage a comprehensive content calendar supporting campaign objectives and deadlines.
• Produce, edit, and post high-quality video and audio content for social media and digital platforms using industry-standard software.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to gauge content effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum engagement and reach.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media, digital marketing, and content production.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Integrated Marketing Managers, and Creative Services Team Manager to ensure content aligns with broader marketing strategies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to understand needs and deliver results.

Requirements

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and reporting tools including Adobe, Canva, SEMRush, and Google Analytics.
• 3+ years of experience in digital media, social media management, and content creation.
• Proficiency in video and audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of social media engagement best practices and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SEO tools and traditional media KPIs.
• Knowledge of Google Trends and content performance optimization.
• Experience working in a corporate or construction industry environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or similar field
• 3+ years of experience in digital media, social media management, and content creation
• Proficiency in video and audio editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut, and After Effects
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and engagement strategies
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Google Analytics and SEMRush
