About the Role

At KeyBank we are looking for a passionate Digital Product Owner with a desire to innovate and think digital first; your objectives will be focused on building optimal customer experiences by leveraging data and tying it back to a bigger strategic vision, enhancing processes, and improving the client experience. This is a fast moving, high-energy environment where the right individual can make a difference on the client experience. Team members will be responsible for contributing to and executing against the strategic plan for enhancing the capabilities of our digital products, with a specific focus on KeyNavigator, KeyBank's commercial grade digital banking platform. Initiate and lead projects to implement and enhance digital capabilities and help drive innovation while collaborating closely with product managers, technology, and other internal partners to ensure effective deployment and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct efforts of a cross functional agile team ('squad') throughout the product development lifecycle to build and deliver enhancements to KeyBank's online and mobile capabilities.
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
  • Create and maintain a detailed product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized and reflects the needs of the business and users.
  • Lead agile ceremonies such as Product Increment (PI) Planning and Sprint Planning to ensure efficient and effective product development.
  • Translate business goals into digital product concepts and tactical user stories.
  • Launch product enhancements to market and ensure effective change management practices.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop strong business/financial knowledge and understand clients' needs, demonstrating a strong understanding of technology to collaborate with technology partners to build or integrate scalable and extensible capabilities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to advise them on developing and sustaining a business advantage via digital channels.
  • Maintain and manage multiple and/or changing priorities quickly with flexibility, initiative, innovation, and a team focus to drive success.
  • Make sound data-driven judgments drawing from analytical and qualitative data sources.
  • Use problem-solving skills to identify, isolate, and resolve problems and issues in a timely fashion to minimize customer pain points.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years in digital business and/or product development.
  • Strong analytical mindset, data-driven decision making, and insights.
  • Familiarity with industry competitive analysis and being a thought leader.
  • Combination of business depth and technical savvy.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, Agile, and data-driven environment.
  • Digital native with a strong understanding of the digital landscape, technologies, disrupters, and best practices.

  • Experience creating digital products and services that serve the commercial client segment.
  • Working knowledge and appreciation for user-centered design and digital user experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage user-generated data to create intelligent customer experiences.
  • Proven ability to think critically and identify new ways to create positive client-centric experiences.
  • Possess a strong mix of quantitative, qualitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically coupled with the ability to drive to execution.
  • Experience with storytelling and curating presentations.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence broadly.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • Eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000 to $110,000 annually depending on location and experience.
  • Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation based on performance.
