About the Role

Join Intuit's Futures team as a Senior Staff Product Manager. The Futures team develops and incubates emerging technologies, user experiences, and capabilities that will transform the future of our customers, products, and business. We solve problems for our customers, small and midmarket businesses and consumers, with leading edge tech and strategically influence Intuit's business and strategy. In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibilities including identifying opportunities and market segmentation in emerging tech spaces and then spearheading net new opportunities to launch the next generation of customer experiences and capabilities for our current and future customers. You will join a talented team of designers, engineers, data scientists, product managers, researchers and program managers incubating trajectory changing experiences and services for Intuit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and market segmentation in emerging tech spaces and spearhead new opportunities to launch innovative customer experiences and capabilities.
  • Develop and execute vision and flexible strategy for emerging technology initiatives that can adapt to changing market conditions and new information.
  • Lead the team to assess market landscape, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to refine product strategy.
  • Define and drive product roadmap, detailing execution plans to capitalize on emerging technologies.
  • Use a data-driven approach to define opportunity size, success metrics, prioritization, and communicate plans, progress, and success.
  • Collaborate across organizational groups to understand priorities and identify how emerging technologies can accelerate innovation.
  • Anticipate and resolve strategic issues to ensure team delivery.
  • Create and maintain momentum, helping teams move forward swiftly with rigor, a learning mindset, and a bias toward action.
  • Mentor other product managers within the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on product management experience in financial technology, social media, or e-commerce spaces, working on new or emerging technologies for 0-1 products with AI/ML at their core, including GenAI and Agents.
  • Strong connections to the start-up space through experience in Venture Capital or at a major tech company.
  • Background in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, or at a strategy consulting firm is a plus.
  • Passion for solving big customer problems through deep understanding of customer needs, market landscape, and technology trends.
  • Experimental mindset, adept at validating concepts and assumptions through rapid and iterative testing.
  • Strategic thinker and tactical executor, assessing desirability, feasibility, and viability of experiences, capabilities, and products.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated team-building skills, including motivating and guiding engineers, data scientists, designers, and researchers, and collaborating with legal, privacy, and platform teams.
  • Bias for action, self-starter attitude, adaptability, tenacity, perceptiveness, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, entrepreneurship, data science/analytics, innovation, or finance; MBA is a plus or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Corporate Strategy or Corporate Development.
  • Experience working in Venture Capital or at a major tech company.

  • Mentorship skills for developing other product managers.
