About the Role

Support Avanade's sales teams in closing new business efficiently and accurately through administrative functions, analytics, and reporting. This role sits within Avanade's Digital Demand Center (DDC), a centralized function designed to accelerate the buyer journey from awareness to engagement by integrating digital marketing and sales activities to generate, nurture, and convert leads into clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a healthy pipeline by creating email drip campaigns and emailing prospective clients about Avanade.
  • Review, qualify, and nurture leads from marketing or partners for further development.
  • Engage buyers through relevant channels such as digital content, social media, campaigns, and email to move them through the buyer journey into a qualified lead.
  • Pursue and convert leads to opportunities to build $10 million in pipeline opportunities per fiscal year.
  • Deliver industry insight, manage customer objections, and suitably position sales plays to maximize sales.
  • Research accounts and identify key contacts and sales opportunities.
  • Follow and analyze industry trends to identify selling opportunities at prospective accounts.
  • Develop prospect intelligence including company background research and other lead information.
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
  • Maintain market knowledge including competitive products, pricing, and policies.
  • Maintain data quality and confidentiality for all clients.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for better lead generation and conversion.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing and sales efforts.
  • Develop advanced segmentation and targeting strategies for email campaigns.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data management and lead nurturing.
  • Coordinate with industry and digital sales leads to align efforts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners and co-sell on prospective accounts.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to align joint marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls to action.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to complete 5 of the following technical certifications within 3 months after joining or have them completed prior to hire: Microsoft 365 fundamentals, Dynamics 365 CRM fundamentals, Azure fundamentals, Data fundamentals, Security Fundamentals, Dynamics 365 ERP fundamentals.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in analytical skills, with the ability to read, understand, and analyze data to provide insights.
  • Good ability to leverage network.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting the sale of technology.
  • Ability to use a CRM system and update details on calls and next steps.
  • Comfortable thriving in a high-volume setting.

  • Experience with digital marketing and demand generation activities.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive products.
  • Technical certifications related to Microsoft and cloud fundamentals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or sales.
