About the Role

Our client in the education space is looking for a Marketing and Demand Specialist in a contract-to-hire position. This role involves content creation, campaign management, demand generation, analytics, brand awareness, sales enablement, and leveraging marketing automation tools. The position is hybrid, with onsite work in Minneapolis on Mondays and Tuesdays, and offers a competitive hourly rate with potential salary conversion after initial contracting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing and editing persuasive content such as white papers, blogs, social media posts, webinars, and event materials for email campaigns and other channels.
  • Managing campaign and content calendars and executing end-to-end campaign activities.
  • Outlining and optimizing landing pages, LinkedIn lead generation forms, and campaign funnels.
  • Nurturing and handing off sales leads with appropriate content.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting KPIs across web, email, paid, organic social, and events.
  • Maintaining accurate data within CRM systems like Salesforce, auditing for inconsistencies, and performing A/B tests and audience segmentation.
  • Coordinating brand-enhancing initiatives such as forums, customer reviews, mailers, merchandise, and referral programs.
  • Supporting event planning and promotional outreach, as well as product launches and branding efforts.
  • Creating and maintaining marketing assets including sales decks, white papers, and case studies.
  • Partnering with sales to ensure tools are aligned with funnel stages and messaging.
  • Leveraging CRM, Salesforce, and AI-enabled tools to streamline marketing automation, lead scoring, and data management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, demand generation, and/or marketing operations.
  • B2B marketing experience is crucial.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with data hygiene practices and database record management.
  • Experience outlining landing pages, forms, and email workflows.
  • Ability to analyze data and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for persuasive content.
  • Experience with campaign management and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Higher-education industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools for personalization and automation.
