About the Role

The role of Director of Marketing Business Development Support is to serve as a strategic marketing partner for the Business Development and Product teams, supporting account-based marketing efforts and enabling sales through compelling messaging and collateral.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute product-related content in close partnership with Product and the Business Development team.
  • Develop customized messaging, decks, and collateral tailored to priority accounts and verticals.
  • Partner with product and BD to co-create BDM assets, TDM assets, and conversation guides to enable sellers.
  • Partner with field marketing to integrate messaging into campaigns and track and report on campaign performance, iterating to improve conversion and engagement.
  • Collaborate with field marketing to ensure consistent positioning across touchpoints.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and customer insights to inform messaging and product strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in enterprise technology or SaaS.
  • Experience partnering with product teams to create new messages and define products.
  • Excellent copywriting and messaging skills—clear, concise, persuasive.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and storytelling—creating visual, compelling BD presentations.
  • Hands-on experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or BD-aligned marketing.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter mindset, with the maturity to operate independently and the EQ to collaborate across functions.
  • Familiarity with GTM processes, sales process, and buyer journeys in complex B2B environments.
  • Located in or near Seattle with the ability to attend in-person team or client meetings 2-3 times per week.
