Job Description

About the Role

A sales leadership role with 70% of time spent in the field and 30% spent in the office, leading and coaching a team of Outside Sales Representatives selling ADT's core residential product: Home Security and Home Automation. Safe Haven Security, ADT's largest authorized dealer, is expanding and seeking a motivated Sales Manager to oversee daily activities, manage a team, and drive sales performance. The role involves setting the tone for team success through leadership, training, and motivation, with benefits including paid training, paid time off, comprehensive health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, and uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily activity of a local Outside Sales team.
  • Interview and hire Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Assign and manage leads, track and audit sales, and conduct training.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and development, facilitate team huddles.
  • Support the team by controlling attrition.
  • Maintain and/or exceed minimum personal sales requirements in the field.
  • Motivate the team through phone and group chat communication.
  • Perform ride-alongs for new hires and struggling sales reps.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Regional Sales Management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Outside Sales experience, supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently with technical devices including laptops, tablets, and support tools.
  • Innate ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work in all weather and climate conditions, with daily office and field work.
