The role of Director, Brand & Content Marketing involves leading brand storytelling and creative teams to build a memorable and impactful brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Recharge's brand identity and narrative across every channel and asset.
  • Drive full-funnel brand expression, from high-impact hero moments to nuanced microcopy and motion.
  • Lead, inspire, and scale the Brand team—including writers, campaign managers, and content producers—focusing on excellence, consistency, and emotional impact.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and Partnerships to deliver breakthrough campaigns targeting DTC founders and enterprise buyers.
  • Manage and evolve the company's voice, tone, and visual identity to effectively communicate what Recharge stands for.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers when needed, while building internal creative capabilities that can operate efficiently.

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of experience in brand, creative, and content leadership, ideally in B2B SaaS, DTC tech, or agency roles serving bold brands.
  • A strategic creative who can shape a brand platform and translate positioning into compelling narratives.
  • Ability to think in systems, connecting brand expression across web, campaigns, product, events, and social media.
  • Deep appreciation for craft, including words, typography, and design quality.
  • Understanding storytelling as a go-to-market tool to evoke customer emotion.
  • Fluency in brand team dynamics such as hiring, feedback, coaching, prioritization, and process management.
  • Experience launching brands or rebrands and bringing a vision to life at every level.
  • Belief that brand is a revenue driver, not just a cost center.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, DTC tech, or agency environments serving bold brands.
  • Ability to build and lead a creative team that produces work which captures attention and drives engagement.
  • Strong understanding of how to develop an iconic visual and verbal identity in commerce.

Qualifications

  • Experience in brand, creative, and content leadership roles with 8-12+ years of relevant experience.
