About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nordson Business System, NBS Next, to ensure the division focuses on the most attractive growth segments.
• Identifies growth opportunities by segmenting the business division and leveraging the serviceable obtainable market (SoM) to determine market potential.
• Develops and deploys strategy-to-action to deliver long-term profitable growth for strategic focus segments.
• Drives ongoing competitive analysis and develops strategies to increase market share in attractive applications in each region.
• Leads the team to open doors supporting market development, identifying potential Top customers, and working with commercial teams to shorten the time to revenue.
• Supports regional sales leaders in developing and executing commercial plans to meet growth and profitability targets.
• Leads product line management teams in developing and executing product roadmaps and new product pipelines.
• Provides guidance to marketing to optimize lead generation and strengthen global brand awareness.
• Demonstrates talent management skills by hiring, coaching, developing employees, and increasing engagement.
• Participates in strategic and operating plan processes, contributing to overall business management.
• Reviews product designs and specifications to ensure alignment with market and customer requirements, supporting product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 17-20 years of professional experience, including 7-10 years in a marketing or commercial leadership role.
• Experience leading global teams outside of North America, with a preference for experience in the Asia market.
• Experience in strategic marketing, planning, and analysis, including leading products through full life cycle.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain high-level relationships with end customers.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills, analytical ability, and financial acumen.
• Leadership skills including team building, collaboration, accountability, and innovative thinking.
• Strong decision-making skills under high pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; Master's Degree preferred.
• Extensive professional experience with leadership in marketing or commercial roles.
