About the Role

The Director, Central Sales Strategic Planning and Operations at Meta is responsible for leading the globally dispersed SSPO team to drive efficient revenue growth and product adoption. This role involves setting strategic direction, designing and scaling internal processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, and Sales to surface insights, evolve processes, and ensure alignment with business priorities. The leader must be a systems-level thinker, an impactful organizational leader, and capable of developing a high-performing team to deliver measurable results at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define cohesive operations strategy to bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales team by partnering closely with product and sales teams.
  • Establish consultative relationships with regional teams to help them achieve strategic and operational goals.
  • Guide the development of systems, tools, programs, and processes that enable more efficient business performance and drive greater accountability.
  • Drive execution by moving from high-level conversations into detailed operational discussions and planning.
  • Utilize analytical understanding of the business, metrics, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement in specific areas.
  • Develop and guide organizational effectiveness, talent planning, change management, and conflict resolution.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal partners such as Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, and Sales leaders.
  • Develop, retain, and motivate the organization while continually raising the talent bar globally.
  • Travel as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 16+ years of business operations experience.
  • 12+ years of people management, influencing, and coaching skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience leading global sales operations strategy and centralized operations projects at a consulting firm or in a corporate strategy.
  • Experience building and scaling new initiatives or programs from strategy to post-launch management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate insights and data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing Product and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analysis skills for complex business problems.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity effectively.
  • Proven success as a leader of change, implementing operational improvements through new performance measures, processes, and systems.

  • $296,000/year to $350,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
  • Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
