About the Role

The Director, Communications, Global Brand at Fiserv is responsible for developing and executing internal communications strategies that support associate engagement within the Merchant Solutions business. This role involves creating communication plans, key messages, and content for strategic initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver integrated communications that reinforce business priorities and a client-centric culture. The position is fully on-site, requires up to 25% travel, and offers opportunities for career development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage communications campaigns that support marketing campaigns, product launches, service updates, policy changes, and cultural moments
  • Oversee the development of executive messaging, organizational updates, video scripts, talking points, and FAQs for associates across the global Merchant Solutions business
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive internal communications strategy for all business and client-facing functions
  • Partner closely with senior executives to craft messages that reinforce business priorities and client-centric culture
  • Translate complex initiatives into compelling narratives that drive understanding and engagement for associates
  • Optimize and evolve communication channels to meet the needs of geographically dispersed, high-touch teams, including digital newsletters, intranet hubs, team meetings, and toolkits

Requirements

  • 9+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, preferably in client-facing, sales, or service-oriented environments
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Experience writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a proven ability to influence at the executive level
  • Experience providing communications counsel to business executives and influencing at the executive level
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work weekends/evenings as necessary
