About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with WP Engine's target segments, brand themes, and organic growth objectives across owned channels.
• Lead the production of high-quality content, including blog articles and multimedia assets, ensuring resonance with the target audience and support for SEO initiatives.
• Serve as the lead editor, upholding standards for quality, consistency, and relevance.
• Mentor, inspire, and manage a team of content marketers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing and alignment with marketing campaigns.
• Partner closely with product and other marketing teams to align content efforts with overall business objectives.
• Stay abreast of the latest content marketing trends, technologies, and AI advancements.
• Develop and manage a content distribution strategy to maximize reach and impact.
• Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on organic content performance, delivering insights on business impact each month.
• Manage the content marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure strong ROI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Established leader with at least three years in a management position.
• Proven success in leading content marketing teams to deliver measurable results.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Creative thinker and storyteller with a passion for content creation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in both consumer and Tech SaaS industries is advantageous.
