About the Role

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Corporate Communications Content Writer to join our team at Signet Jewelers, the world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry. This role involves creating compelling content to enhance the company's brand presence, engage stakeholders, and communicate corporate messages and goals. The position includes responsibilities such as media briefing preparation, corporate reporting, and project management support, all within a company that values diversity, inclusion, and a people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality written content for various channels including newsletters, press releases, presentation materials, social media posts, and websites
Prepare and conduct media briefings, ensuring clear communication of the company's position and messages to the press and media outlets
Support the creation of quarterly and annual corporate reporting materials and manage the approval chain throughout the process
Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and corporate guidelines
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy in communications
Manage the editorial calendar to plan and schedule content releases, ensuring timely and strategic dissemination of information
Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication strategies when necessary
Track and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and make data-driven adjustments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
10-15 years of proven experience in content creation and writing, corporate and crisis communications, and/or media relations
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to project manage the editing and approval process timeline of key documents and maintain version control
Strong understanding of media briefing and reporting techniques
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in using content management systems and digital communication tools
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Qualifications
