About the Role

Qualcomm seeks a proven Data Center business development and sales leader to drive new revenue-generating opportunities within its Data Center business unit. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders such as engineering, product management, finance, and sales to position Qualcomm's products in the market and define next-generation products with industry-leading long-term roadmaps. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the Data Center business, including experience with Hyperscalers, Cloud Providers, and key OEMs, and possess deep knowledge of CPU/GPU/AI chipset, hardware, and architecture design for data center and edge compute.

Key Responsibilities

Develop sales strategies and drive relationships with decision-makers at all levels within customer organizations, including C-level executives, in areas such as engineering, procurement, marketing, and operations.
Identify and work with ecosystem partners including Hyperscalers, Cloud Providers, OEM, ODM, SI, ISV, and developers to establish partnerships through collaborations, investments, commercial partnerships, or acquisitions.
Identify new program opportunities at target customers and propose Qualcomm solutions that meet their requirements, understanding key functional, feature, cost, and performance metrics.
Cultivate customer intimacy by presenting regularly with customers and working to drive relevance and leadership for Qualcomm at focus accounts.
Create customer and industry-facing briefings, including content creation and delivery, and articulate Qualcomm’s product lineup, roadmap, and competitive positioning.
Partner with Product Management and developer relations to identify and nurture new business opportunities, strategic partners, and inform go-to-market strategies for new services and customers.
Track market trends, competitive offerings, and business models in cloud and enterprise AI deployment to identify new opportunities for Qualcomm.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of sales, business development, or related experience.
OR an Associate's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
OR a high school diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of relevant experience.
Deep relationships and work experience with Hyperscalers, Cloud Providers, OEM, ODM, SI, ISV, and developers.
Strong understanding of Server CPU and AI/ML accelerator hardware architectures, parallel processing, high-speed I/Os, and low power design.
Knowledge of CPU/GPU/AI technologies including Generative AI and use cases at Enterprise and Cloud.
Ability to analyze benchmarking and competitive data to develop product and business strategies.
Experience developing business models, negotiating contracts, and securing design wins.
Strong communication skills, including delivering customer presentations.

Nice to Have

12+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in solution deployment, market penetration, and cross-functional team leadership.
Experience with Data Center product introduction, qualification, and deployment.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
