About the Role

Qualcomm seeks a proven Data Center business development and sales leader to drive new revenue-generating opportunities within its Data Center business unit. The role involves working closely with internal teams such as engineering, product management, finance, and sales, as well as engaging with external customers including Hyperscalers, Cloud Providers, and OEMs. The candidate will focus on defining and executing strategies related to server CPU, AI/ML hardware, and data center solutions, with an emphasis on long-term product roadmaps and industry leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Develop sales strategies and drive relationships with decision-makers at all levels within customer organizations, including C-level executives, in areas such as engineering, procurement, marketing, and operations.
Identify and collaborate with ecosystem partners including Hyperscalers, Cloud Providers, OEMs, ODMs, SIs, ISVs, and developers to establish partnerships that support Qualcomm's initiatives through collaborations, investments, or acquisitions.
Identify new program opportunities at target customers and propose Qualcomm solutions that meet their requirements, understanding key needs related to functionality, features, cost, and performance metrics.
Cultivate a high level of customer intimacy by presenting regularly with customers and working to establish Qualcomm's relevance and leadership at focus accounts.
Create and deliver customer and industry-facing briefings, including content creation, and articulate Qualcomm’s product lineup, roadmap, and competitive positioning.
Partner with Product Management and developer relations to identify and nurture new business opportunities, strategic partners, and customers, including informing go-to-market strategies for new services.
Track market trends, competitive offerings, and business models in cloud and enterprise AI deployment to identify new opportunities for Qualcomm.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of sales, business development, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep relationships and experience with Hyperscalers, Cloud Providers, OEMs, ODMs, SIs, ISVs, and developers.
Strong understanding of Server CPU and AI/ML accelerator hardware architectures, parallel processing, high-speed I/Os, and low power design.
Experience with Data Center product introduction, qualification, and deployment.
Ability to analyze benchmarking and competitive data to develop actionable product and business strategies.
Proven track record of securing design wins and developing new business models.
Excellent communication skills, including building and delivering customer presentations.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer and market briefings.

Nice to Have

12+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in solution deployment, market penetration, and cross-functional leadership.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge of Generative AI use cases at enterprise and cloud levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
