The role involves leading the end-to-end development and execution of consumer insight-based, data-driven, and commercially oriented strategies to maximize profitability and market share for the Cricket business, leveraging the Device portfolio. The candidate will ensure the Cricket Device portfolio offers a competitive edge from both a feature and price perspective and utilize it to drive customer preference among new prospects and the existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies by collaborating with the Strategic Pricing team to design and execute data-driven pricing policies to optimize volume, margin, and revenue goals.
  • Innovate new pricing models and capabilities to maintain a strong competitive position.
  • Secure subsidy investments from OEMs and deploy them to deliver strong returns.
  • Perform thorough market and competitive analyses to guide pricing decisions and provide actionable strategic insights.
  • Create go-to-market strategies for Dealer, National Retail, and Digital channels based on research and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Pricing and Analytics team to leverage modeling and financial analysis in assessing the effectiveness of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments.
  • Monitor revenue, margin, and volume trends to ensure subsidy investments deliver compelling returns.
  • Manage all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept through launch and retirement, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing success.
  • Oversee budgets, funding requests, and coordinate with design, supply chain, quality, and marketing teams.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, service guides, documentation, and analytic reports to align with market needs and strategic objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to grow revenue and improve margins.
  • Lead relationships with key OEM partners.
  • Effectively communicate pricing policies to stakeholders and prepare executive-level reports.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members through onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate across departments to align with business objectives and support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Direct and execute strategies supporting the company's mission, oversee departmental programs, and lead large teams including supervisors and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in developing and executing pricing strategies.
  • Ability to perform market and competitive analysis.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Experience managing product lifecycle and developing product roadmaps.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and mentoring staff.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the telecommunications or consumer electronics industry.
  • Experience working with OEM partners.
  • Advanced degree or certifications related to marketing or finance.
