Director, Enterprise Merchant Insights & Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and build a high-performing team that creates quantitative tools, insights, and recommendations to support sales teams partnering with strategic enterprise merchants.
• Use SQL and other analytics tools to explore complex datasets, identify key business opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Own projects end-to-end by collaborating with stakeholders to define hypotheses, scope efforts, conduct analyses, and execute solutions.
• Partner cross-functionally with enterprise teams to align priorities, share findings, and support strategic decisions with rigorous data analysis.
• Design and automate dashboards, models, and reporting infrastructure to provide clear insights and support long-term growth strategies.
• Craft clear and compelling narratives to communicate complex insights, driving alignment and action among stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and consistency to enable scalable and accurate analytics across the business.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, sales insights, or related quantitative roles.
• Experience supporting sales teams and developing executive-level, external-facing deliverables.
• Proficiency in analytics tools, SQL, ETL, and visualization tools such as Sigma, Chartio, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Experience adopting new technologies, including GenAI/LLMs, and curiosity about AI automation in analytics.
• Strong ability to use data and insights to inform strategies and lead new initiatives within a large organization.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience influencing executive stakeholders internally and externally.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years in people management, including leading leaders.
• Ability to hire and recruit top, diverse talent to drive impact and contribute to company culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, sales insights, or related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree.

• Salary range: $197,200 - $290,000 USD, localized based on work location.
