The Marketing team at Snap is dedicated to building a best-in-class international marketing organization that articulates the brand's purpose, values, and offerings across the entire ecosystem. The role of the Director, Global Brand Marketing, involves leading global brand initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and representing Snap in industry forums and media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a diverse team of marketers responsible for growing the brand and products worldwide.
  • Create and execute Snap's brand marketing strategy and programs that communicate Snap's value proposition to consumers, businesses, and creators.
  • Develop highly creative, innovative brand and product marketing campaigns, narratives, success stories, thought leadership, industry partnerships, workshops, and events (virtual and in-person).
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams including Insights, Creative Strategy, Product Marketing, Communications, Marketing Science, Product, and Sales to ensure marketing aligns with business goals.
  • Represent Snap Marketing in leadership forums and decisions globally.
  • Collaborate with global teams to localize marketing programs and share best practices.
  • Share insights from regional marketing activities with Snap's senior leadership to enhance understanding of market and customer dynamics.
  • Measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing efforts to ensure they meet brand and growth objectives.
  • Represent Snap at industry stages and in media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience.
  • 15 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to operationalize and navigate complex organizations.
  • Collaborative approach embodying Snap's core values.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and cultivate ideas.
  • Analytical rigor with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and ability to bridge priorities across teams.
  • Ability to communicate Snap's brand story and value proposition publicly.
  • Passion for Snapchat.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in regional or global marketing roles.
  • Marketing experience at a digital platform, app, or media company.
  • Experience in consumer brand marketing.
  • Proven success in developing and launching strong creative campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success leading a B2B marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams in a marketing environment.
  • Experience in digital platform, app, or media company preferred.
