The role involves building a demand generation engine to drive growth across multiple product lines, buyer segments, and personas, both domestically and internationally, through leading the paid social and programmatic marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the worldwide, multi-channel strategy for building awareness among targeted audiences, nurturing them to consideration, and driving conversion.
  • Own the customer acquisition strategy for paid social and programmatic channels.
  • Manage an 8-figure annual budget, optimizing channel and campaign allocations to maximize revenue.
  • Build an experimentation engine within the team to fuel scale and efficiency gains through test and learn approaches.
  • Establish structure and processes to operate a centralized worldwide paid advertising team with stakeholders across geographies and product lines.
  • Develop strategies for launching new channels to effectively market Rippling's suite of products.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-caliber team of paid marketers to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, content, growth, analytics, marketing operations, and GTM teams.
  • Partner with analytics to create a measurement ecosystem tracking KPIs throughout the funnel and maximizing ROI.
  • Participate in IC initiatives to maximize team impact and contribute directly to campaign execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 in performance marketing.
  • 3+ years managing a team of more than 3 marketers.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to uncover insights and incorporate them into initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with DSP and/or social platforms such as display, native, OLV, CTV, LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Agility and speed in trying new ideas, pivoting when necessary, and scaling successful strategies.
  • Strong technical ability working with ad platforms, pixels, and feeds.
  • Confidence analyzing large data sets and making strategic recommendations.
  • Deep understanding of measurement and attribution; experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) is a plus.
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
