About the Role

Pfizer is seeking a Director of Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) Lifecycle for Internal Medicine (IM)/Migraine. The role involves leading forecasting for Internal Medicine (Eliquis) and Migraine, leveraging insights from multiple sources to develop and socialize forecasts, and influencing senior leadership. The candidate should have a proven track record in brand consultancy, data analysis, and strategic planning, with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Long-Range Forecasts (LRFs) and Operating Plans in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate forecasting activities with US, Global, IDM CO, and Forecasting CoE colleagues.
  • Frame and translate complex patient flow into simplified model approaches for commercial teams.
  • Create epi- and trend-based forecast models with CoE colleagues.
  • Identify and analyze relevant analogs to inform forecasting.
  • Leverage insights from all relevant sources to generate and defend forecast assumptions.
  • Manage and oversee external vendors supporting forecast model/tool development.
  • Review and enhance forecasts or strategic brand plans, communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Ensure effective performance measurement and regular assessment of portfolio performance.
  • Act as strategic partner to US and Global commercial teams to address key business questions.
  • Develop and lead patient journey-based business reviews tied to budgetary goals.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics for marketing effectiveness.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations, presenting findings clearly.
  • Lead dialogue to integrate insights across cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to team capability advancement through knowledge sharing.
  • Align with other analytic teams and partner with functions to utilize novel data sources including RWD.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field; MS or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in consulting, finance or market analytics.
  • 5+ years developing data-driven brand strategy for major assets (> $1B).
  • Market research experience.
  • Involvement in framing, designing & executing solutions for challenging business situations.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, including primary and secondary data.
  • Proven track record as an indispensable thought partner to senior brand leaders and influencing without authority.
  • Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity, creative visionary, and drive for innovation.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in PPT, Excel, and ideally Tableau.
