Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution.
  • Lead performance/KPI development and reporting, including best practice sharing across TAs, enabling a thorough understanding of brand performance and opportunities based on a variety of inputs.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing leadership to establish an annual business analytics plan by brand.
  • Leverage data and analytics to develop key insights to inform each brand's strategy through the BPOA (Brand Plan of Action) process.
  • Conduct analytics projects to inform a range of business issues, including MD and patient segmentation, customer journey and treatment flow analytics, sampling strategy and analytics.
  • Design and implement HQ-facing dashboards and reports for performance reporting and diagnostics.
  • Evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to continually elevate the impact of business analytics.
  • Integrate insight and analysis from various sources to inform material decisions and consolidate data into actionable brand opportunities.
  • Provide objective quantitative analyses and develop business cases to identify key opportunities and address critical business issues.
  • Collaborate within the department to ensure business analytics are integrated into Tactic Measurement and Marketing Mix work, and inform Forecasting.
  • Identify business challenges and use cases to drive value through innovative analytical approaches, including AI and predictive analytics.
  • Work with business unit and brand marketing leadership to identify use cases for AI and new analytics approaches such as next best action, dynamic targeting, patient journey prediction, and multi-channel marketing.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across VP, senior directors, marketing, IT, and external consulting resources.
  • Lead quarterly reviews with key stakeholders to share insights and analysis on business, brand, and market issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant analytical experience managing projects and high-visibility initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience, or Master's Degree and Ten Years' Experience, or PhD and Eight Years' Experience.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IMS, Symphony Health).
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software systems (e.g., MS Suite, Tableau, Databricks).
  • Demonstrated ability to pull insights from various sources and develop strategic guidance.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Experience managing and developing stakeholder relationships within marketing and commercial operations.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence teams, and drive consensus.

Nice to Have

  • MBA/Masters degree preferred with concentration in healthcare, management, analytics, or data sciences.
  • Pharmaceutical or consumer insight experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with AI and predictive analytics techniques.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources such as IMS or Symphony Health.

  • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.

  • Salary range of $226,185.00 - $292,710.00, with consideration of experience, qualifications, and location.
