The Data, Measurement, and Analytics team accelerates growth through data, technical and measurement - driving customer value, influencing product direction, and redefining industry standards. We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join us on our mission to revolutionize how retailers leverage data. We partner with our retail clients to demonstrate the tangible value of Google media, using data and insights to fuel their profitable growth. Our work empowers retailers to engage their highest-value customers, optimize their marketing strategies, and ultimately strengthen their retail store presence. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We focus on helping these players navigate industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market strategies, and delivering tangible results that impact global businesses and drive Google's growth. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and work with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short- and long-term account growth.
  • Leverage measurement methods and analysis to produce business-focused insights and help customers understand the value of media. Test via experimentation and learning agendas, share learnings across sectors, and implement best practices with cross-functional partners.
  • Define a cross-media measurement standard that supports an accurate and fair measurement of performance for a customer's business.
  • Analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Consult on client's/partner's strategy in the areas of sales, marketing or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions or insights to facilitate business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform).
  • 1 year of client-facing experience, with a track record of influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques such as offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution.
  • Client-facing experience with a track record of influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and automation techniques like dashboards and custom reports.
