Key Responsibilities

  • Leads brand planning and strategic development across HCP, Patient, and Field Medical Marketing initiatives and is responsible for the brand plan for Field Medical Marketing.
  • Transforms field insights and real-world feedback into data-driven program enhancements to optimize campaign effectiveness and strategic investments.
  • Ensures strategic alignment and operational excellence in Advisory Board execution and oversees the team responsible for execution.
  • Develops and guides the execution of thought leader engagement strategies, including identification, development, and alignment with brand goals.
  • Manages the development and implementation of patient engagement plans, including overseeing Patient Ambassador and Influencer programs and cultivating relationships with patients and caregivers.
  • Provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Medical Marketing initiatives, including speaker bureau management and content creation for various programs.
  • Leads field alignment efforts by maintaining relationships with regional teams and ensuring consistent implementation of brand strategy.
  • Works collaboratively with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to all guidelines and requirements.
  • Provides strategic leadership and direction to direct reports, manages agency operations, and fosters continuous improvement through coaching and development.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and sales, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong communicator and skilled diplomat with the ability to effectively combine scientific knowledge and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions and compliance issues.
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships with medical, legal, regulatory, advocacy, compliance, marketing, and corporate communications teams.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, problem solving, and creativity in product positioning and messaging.
  • Ability to maintain focus in a dynamic environment, ensuring strategic alignment for commercial success.
  • Enthusiasm, confidence, and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with effective prioritization.
  • Thought leadership with technical/business expertise, capable of solving complex problems and executing cross-functional initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of own area of expertise to support business objectives and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related fields.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing and sales.

  • Annual base salary in the range of $184,338.00-$266,931.00, depending on experience and location.
  • Annual bonus target of 35% of base salary.
