About the Role

The Director, NAM Partner Marketing role at Palo Alto Networks involves developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for North American Partners and Ecosystems. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute highly targeted, integrated marketing campaigns within the partner ecosystem to generate multi-million dollar pipeline and revenue.
  • Shape the strategic direction of NAM partner marketing, acting as a trusted advisor to senior sales executives and translating complex business objectives into impactful marketing plans.
  • Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of 12+ marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability.
  • Optimize marketing investments using a data-driven approach to ensure maximum ROI and continuous improvement across initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration and brand consistency across global and regional teams, amplifying market presence through alliances with cloud service providers, GSIs, distributors, and ISVs.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of successful experience leading marketing organizations within a tech company, including managing teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional collaborations.
  • Proven success in developing innovative approaches, challenging the status quo, and acting as a business partner to sales executives.
  • Deep knowledge and relationships within the technology partner/ecosystem space.
  • Strong communication skills that ensure diversity of voice and inclusive engagement.
  • Ability to deliver results, see the big picture, and analyze current and future trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, scheduling, and budgeting with a focus on key priorities.
  • Solid understanding of funnel metrics and actions to improve conversion and increase marketing-sourced pipeline and bookings.
  • Ability to develop and coach team members, set goals, and measure performance against KPIs.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% as required.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or technology is preferred.
