About the Role

Join Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as the Director of Admissions and Marketing. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians and community-based referral sources, increasing census, reviewing prospective residents' needs, and representing the facility at community events. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and rewarding environment dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a strong relationship with Hospital Case Managers, Discharge Planners, and Social Workers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with area ALFs, Home Health Agencies, Retirement Communities, and Senior Centers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with area Physicians and maintain good communication.
Recruit new Physicians to follow residents in the facility as Attending Physicians.
Assist Physicians in completing the company credentialing process if they wish to be a facility attending physician.
Review and assess prospective residents by evaluating their medical, physical, and psychosocial needs.
Obtain admission decisions within a 15-minute guideline using the center's Green-Yellow-Red Light Tool.
Represent the facility by participating in community functions, events, and fundraisers.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, organization structure, social and activity services, and government relations related to nursing facility operations.
Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to community groups and agencies.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze information from various sources and make recommendations to leadership.
Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Software knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

Experience in marketing and public relations programs.
Experience working with healthcare professionals and community organizations.

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare, community relations, or marketing preferred.
Ability to establish, implement, and maintain effective marketing and public relations programs.
