Director of Brand Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the creation and execution of the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels including digital, social, retail, wholesale, and experiential.
• Develop the brand's vision, mission, and personality to differentiate it in a competitive market and resonate with the target consumer base.
• Act as the guardian of the brand's identity, maintaining messaging, voice, and visual elements across all consumer touchpoints such as websites, social media, and advertising.
• Create integrated, high-energy 360° marketing campaigns spanning digital, social, retail, wholesale, and experiential channels.
• Build and oversee compelling content for social media, email, and digital platforms to engage and connect with the target audience.
• Mentor and motivate a lean, collaborative team with high-energy leadership that fosters innovation and accountability.
• Collaborate with sales, e-commerce, product, and executive teams to integrate brand initiatives across the customer journey.
• Guide creative agencies and production teams to deliver campaigns on time and to standard.
• Stay informed on cultural shifts, consumer insights, and Gen Z/female brand trends to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
• Monitor KPIs related to brand awareness, engagement, and conversion, using data to measure effectiveness and inform strategies.
• Conduct market analysis to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitors, identifying growth opportunities.
• Manage the brand marketing budget of over $0.5M, allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in brand marketing.
• 3+ years in a director-level or higher leadership role.
• Proven expertise in content creation, storytelling, and developing 360° campaigns.
• Hands-on leader capable of strategizing and executing, including writing briefs and leading from the front.
• Strong background in lifestyle, footwear, apparel, or consumer brands, with a focus on female and Gen Z audiences.
• Expertise in social media, digital landscapes, and trend-driven marketing.
• Experience leading and inspiring small, high-impact teams.
