About the Role

Cruise.com, one of the internet's largest cruise sellers, is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to join their team. The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President and involves managing internet marketing strategies, website production, and team management in a high-volume, fast-paced internet travel agency environment. The position requires an analytical, customer-centric individual with a strong background in internet marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manages department overseeing web design and development and internet marketing.
Supports agency2 internet marketing strategy and techniques including having first-hand knowledge of SEO, Social Media, and YouTube.
Contributes to enhancing the existing products and internet marketing strategies.
Communicates with internal and external clients on a regular basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience including managing an Internet Marketing department, preferably in the internet travel industry.
BA degree in Marketing or related field.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of web/graphic design and development, search engine optimization (SEO), SEM, Social Media, Content Development, and other Internet marketing strategies.
Knowledge of Google Analytics software.
Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript.
Highly analytical with the ability to understand all angles of Internet Marketing and make recommendations to improve performance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Travel industry experience and advertising experience are a plus.
