About the Role

The Director of Marketing at Waveny LifeCare Network is responsible for directing all aspects of the organization's marketing strategy, operations, and implementation. This role involves preserving and enforcing brand standards, developing comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies, and driving brand awareness, lead generation, customer and donor engagement, and revenue growth through various marketing initiatives. The position provides strategic leadership to the Sales, Marketing and Advancement team and collaborates with senior management, the board, and other departments to ensure organizational success and build a strong referral and inquiry base.

Key Responsibilities

Design, supervise, implement, and execute all marketing efforts including advertising, media relations, publications, collateral materials, direct mail, community outreach, public relations, promotions, social media, websites, and special events to meet or exceed business goals.
Provide marketing, communications, and brand management strategies for Waveny LifeCare Network, including integrated marketing programs for each business unit and program area.
Write, maintain, and adapt the Marketing and Branding Plan.
Work with senior management and the Advancement/Development team to establish marketing, outreach, and communication priorities, and measure and adjust their success.
Ensure cost-effectiveness and financial management of the department.
Maintain and develop websites, social media, signage, and other channels.
Support the CEO, Board, and senior management through strategic planning, presentations, and event development.
Collaborate with Admissions teams to maintain census at all divisions.
Lead strategic planning and provide insightful analyses on marketplace trends, competitive pricing, referral sources, and internal/external learnings.
Create a positive work environment, promote high standards of performance, and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in marketing or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in marketing or sales, preferably in healthcare or related field.
Strategic thinker with dynamic interpersonal skills and a proven track record of sales and marketing successes.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, graphics programs, and database management.
Ability to develop and deliver effective collateral and presentations.
Ability to work frequently at a desk, with periodic walking, standing, reaching, twisting, and bending.

Nice to Have

Experience in healthcare marketing.
Experience with website management and social media platforms.
Design capabilities.

Qualifications
