Director of Marketing - CS

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement the quarterly marketing/growth plan.
• Provide overall marketing training and expertise to personnel to achieve quality mix and occupancy.
• Direct the completion of a minimum of 4 external sales calls per day with new and existing referral sources.
• Coordinate all internal publicity events and work closely with the Corporate Marketing department on event execution.
• Create and implement monthly direct mail pieces to inquiries and professional referral sources.
• Develop and maintain mailing lists of all professional referral sources and inquiries.
• Train other department heads on the role of marketing and customer service.
• Develop backup procedures with the Administrator for tours when the Director of Admissions and Marketing is unavailable.
• Train backup designees on the process of giving tours and handling inquiries.
• Maintain records and results on all referral and conversion activity.
• Provide feedback and perform customer problem resolution in concert with the Administrator.
• Coordinate press releases and public relations activities with area media.
• Coordinate, train, and orient new marketing and sales hires.
• Assist in the development and placement of media advertisements and creative materials.
• Serve on community boards/associations such as the chamber of commerce.
• Establish a process to qualify residents for admission using CareOne's financial and medical criteria.
• Submit and oversee staff marketing, census, and sales reports using company reporting tools.
• Maintain records and results on all referral and admission activity.
• Serve on the facility's Quality Assurance committee.
• Provide feedback, performance appraisals, and ongoing coaching to marketing staff.
• Oversee pre-admission room checks with the housekeeping supervisor.
• Inform appropriate staff of incoming admissions prior to arrival.
• Ensure patients and families are appropriately welcomed and settled on admission day.
• Complete sign-in paperwork in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in sales and marketing and/or a related healthcare field background.
• Experience in healthcare work is preferred.
• Social Work experience is preferred.
• Sales and Marketing experience is preferred.
• Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred.
