Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute larger media projects, initiatives and/or programs, including negotiations with internal and external parties.
  • Serve in an advisory role to management to provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute BU specific media projects, initiatives and/or programs over several audiences and/or regions.
  • Develop short-term and long-term media projects and activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables.
  • Enhance the digital marketing team's effectiveness and deliver a comprehensive approach to media planning and strategy.
  • Lead the utilization of a measurement framework that ties directly to Media & Marketing Strategy to the assigned BU, leveraging the framework for maximum impact and efficiency.
  • Manage audience sizing/quality, targeting models, campaign measurement and optimization.
  • Facilitate formal planning processes and communication cadence with finance, business, and marketing stakeholders including live meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), dashboards, and other mechanisms.
  • Identify and evaluate complex media process improvements and/or course correction opportunities, creating standards for media operations and managing financial tracking for media investments.
  • Analyze, formulate, and synthesize recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Identify and recommend media process improvements, including evaluations of new systems and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience working in Lifesciences or media agency focused in healthcare preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related systems and/or tools.
  • Proven successful project management skills.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • Recognized as an expert in own sub-function(s) and/or area(s) within the organization with broad-based advanced knowledge.
  • Expert understanding of media procedures, planning, buying, agency management, digital marketing, and digital media.
  • Expert understanding of marketing concepts, media processes, and related systems.
  • Expert knowledge of financial mechanisms related to media buys.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct teams, provide coaching and feedback, and handle employee actions including hire/fire authority.
  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics demonstrating the value of media buys.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally across organizational levels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Lifesciences or healthcare media agencies.
