Director of Product Management - Preference and Consent Management (Hybrid)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned fintech products, prioritizing innovation, growth, regulatory compliance, and speed to market.
• Drive the development and ongoing enhancement of preference and consent management solutions, ensuring applications meet evolving privacy, regulatory, and customer experience requirements.
• Own and continuously improve the full product management process, from product discovery and market opportunity identification through requirements gathering, development, launch, and lifecycle optimization.
• Collaborate closely with technology, compliance, and legal teams to ensure applications adhere to global data privacy standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Gather, consolidate, and transform product requirements into actionable artifacts, including detailed Product Definition Documents and user stories, for communication to Product Owners and Agile teams.
• Develop a deep, data-driven understanding of client needs, market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes through market research, customer interviews, and product analytics.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned products, partnering with client-facing teams to address questions, resolve issues, and drive successful client outcomes.
• Collaborate with marketing to establish differentiated product positioning and support product promotions, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive release documentation, and deliver product enablement and training for sales and services teams to drive adoption and growth.
• Champion the product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, fostering alignment, transparency, and excitement across teams and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, with direct leadership over product teams preferred.
• Experience in financial services or fintech strongly preferred.
• Direct experience designing, launching, or managing preference and consent management applications, including consent capture, user preference centers, or privacy compliance tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in setting, communicating, and executing product vision and strategy with measurable impact on business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Practitioner-level understanding of product management frameworks, including discovery, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Extensive cross-functional leadership experience across sales, client service, technology, marketing, operations, and legal.
• Strong client orientation with experience engaging directly with key customers and industry organizations.
• Deep experience translating business requirements into tangible product offerings and managing go-to-market planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of global data privacy and consent regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to leverage emerging technologies like AI and data analytics to enhance products.
