About the Role

The Director of Product Marketing will lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy for YouScience's flagship Brightpath platform. This role involves owning market understanding, competitive positioning, go-to-market execution, and sales enablement to ensure the products reach students, educators, and adults, delivering measurable impact. It is a high-visibility, strategic, and hands-on leadership position that collaborates with Product Management, Revenue, and Marketing teams to craft narratives, drive adoption, and foster growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead GTM strategy by partnering with Product and Revenue teams to develop and execute launch plans, campaigns, and enablement activities that accelerate product adoption and market share.
  • Own product positioning to ensure products resonate with target audiences, emphasizing clear value propositions across buyer personas and lifecycle stages.
  • Drive storytelling by translating product features and benefits into compelling stories, case studies, and use cases that connect with customer needs.
  • Activate customer research and voice-of-customer programs, including managing the Customer Advisory Board, Win/Loss analysis, and influencer briefings.
  • Enable the sales team by delivering persona-based training, messaging guides, and competitive intelligence to help sellers engage prospects confidently.
  • Lead competitive analysis by monitoring market trends and competitor activities to refine differentiation strategies.
  • Influence product strategy by providing market insights, customer feedback, and pricing/packaging recommendations to guide product roadmaps.
  • Establish best practices by building scalable frameworks and repeatable processes for product marketing at YouScience.
  • Manage product launches by coordinating communication of product feature updates and new releases.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in Product Marketing for SaaS, software, or technology products.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption, usage, and measurable impact for owned products.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with GTM strategy development and execution.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence without authority.
  • Strong analytical skills to guide decisions based on data and market insights.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
  • Experience in education technology marketing is a plus.
