About the Role

The Director of Product Marketing, Enterprise Imaging manages the go to market strategy and needs for a portfolio of products sold into the Enterprise Imaging market. The role involves promoting the portfolio and brand, ensuring high customer satisfaction and referenceability, including customers in promotional strategies, managing external promotional activities, engaging in market society activities, and supporting sales to be successful. The position requires close collaboration with customers, sales, marketing communications, and product management teams, demonstrating effective leadership within the HCUS Medical Informatics organization and cross-functional departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Drives the most effective go to market strategy for the current Enterprise Imaging product portfolio, including solutions like point-of-care ultrasound management, VNA, enterprise viewer, and ancillary products, ensuring revenue and booking objectives are exceeded.
  • Develops and drives the market and sales introduction strategy for new products to ensure initial targets are surpassed.
  • Develops and maintains regional and national reference sites, ensuring they are always prepared to promote and provide references for solutions, with well-defined and organized utilization processes.
  • Collaborates closely with MI sales leaders to ensure sales teams have the necessary selling tools, subject matter expertise, and demonstration support.
  • Maintains high market interest and lead generation through effective promotional messaging and activities, working with marketing communications and sales leadership.
  • Works with training managers to ensure sales teams are prepared to execute go to market strategies and exceed goals.
  • Coordinates with marketing communications to plan, align, and execute trade shows that promote the product portfolio.
  • Develops a market-facing communications strategy utilizing e-communications, web, symposiums, customer profiles, webinars, and society activities, ensuring visibility and alignment with sales and other departments.
  • Works with sales leadership and marketing communications to ensure inside sales campaigns are targeted, effective, and measured.
  • Supports the RFP team as a subject matter expert, ensuring responses are complete, accurate, and compelling.
  • Collaborates with the demo team to keep the demonstration environment current and effective.
  • Provides competitive feedback, market intelligence, and product needs input to product management based on sales and customer activity, supporting product roadmaps aligned with market needs.
  • Ensures compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulations and standards.
  • Supports vendor credentialing processes for hospital and facility access.

Requirements

  • BA/BS/MA degree with 8+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare / Radiology Informatics product marketing.
  • Extensive experience in software promotion and managing software product roadmaps.
  • Experience managing or supporting teams in Enterprise Imaging.
  • Broad expertise in marketing and sales, including strategic planning, go to market product planning, and pricing strategies.
  • Proven track record of overachievement.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and create business impact.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with multiple direct reports.
  • Problem-solving, strategic and tactical analysis, and resolution skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills—presentation, written, and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse individuals.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Salesforce.com.
  • Effective time management skills and proactive communication planning.
  • Ability to drive action plans with both direct and indirect authority, meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with healthcare or radiology informatics solutions.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with FDA and ISO standards.
  • International travel experience (up to 25%).
