About the Role

Freshworks is seeking a Director of Product PR with a proven track record in strategic communications, media relations, and technical thought leadership to elevate the company's perception in the Customer Experience and Employee Experience markets. The role involves partnering with senior executives to define strategies, craft compelling stories, and increase awareness of Freshworks' AI-powered service solutions among key industry audiences. Key Responsibilities

Drive Awareness Among CIOs and CCOs Through the Press by leading the communications strategy for AI-powered service solutions, managing campaigns including product announcements, partnerships, data utilization, media strategies, and customer stories.
Amplify Strategic ISV Partnerships by partnering with product and integration teams to identify key partnerships and craft narratives for the tech press, including collaborations with AWS, Microsoft, Google, and applications in the Freshworks Marketplace.
Create Unique Points of View in EX and CX by developing messaging and perspectives on AI in Employee Experience and Customer Experience, securing media coverage, speaking opportunities, and social strategies for senior executives.
Write Compelling Content including product announcements, earnings summaries, executive bylines, keynotes, and customer press releases, ensuring a consistent voice and engaging storytelling.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in PR and corporate communications with a proven track record in top-tier business and tech media relations reaching CIOs.
Prior experience in the B2B and enterprise technology space, with understanding of enterprise go-to-market strategies and product development cycles.
An adaptable and proactive mindset capable of delivering results under high pressure and ambiguous circumstances with minimal direction.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding technical concepts.
Strong relationship-building skills and experience collaborating with press, executives, partners, and team members.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI, IT technologies, and the related media landscape.
Experience in developing narratives for strategic partnerships with companies like AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
