About the Role

Freshworks is seeking a Director of Product PR with a proven track record in strategic communications, media relations, and technical thought leadership. This role reports into the VP of Communications and will be responsible for elevating Freshworks' perception in the Customer Experience and Employee Experience markets, including customer service, IT, and employee service management. Key Responsibilities

Drive Awareness Among CIOs and CCOs Through the Press by leading the communications strategy for AI-powered service solutions and managing all aspects of ongoing communications campaigns including product announcements, partnerships, data utilization, media strategies, and customer stories.
Amplify Strategic ISV Partnerships by partnering with product and integration teams to identify key partnerships and craft narratives for the tech press, including collaborations with AWS, Microsoft, Google, and integrations in the Freshworks Marketplace.
Create Unique Points of View in EX and CX by developing messaging and perspectives on AI in these areas to secure media coverage, speaking opportunities, and social strategies for senior executives.
Write Compelling Content including product announcements, earnings summaries, executive bylines, keynotes, and customer press releases, ensuring a consistent voice and engaging storytelling.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in PR and corporate communications with a proven track record in top-tier business and tech media relations targeting CIOs.
Prior experience in the B2B and enterprise technology space, with understanding of enterprise go-to-market strategies and product development cycles.
An adaptable, proactive mindset capable of delivering results under high pressure and ambiguous circumstances.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding technical concepts.
Strong relationship-building skills with press, executives, partners, and team members.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.
Deep understanding of emerging technology trends, especially in AI, IT, CX, and EX markets.

Nice to Have

Experience with the media landscape related to generative AI and IT technologies.
Experience in developing narratives for executive speaking engagements and social media strategies.

Qualifications

Formal educational background is not specified, but extensive experience in PR and corporate communications is required.
