Job Description

About the Role

The Keurig Dr Pepper Company has an opportunity for a Director of Sales, on our Costco team leading our total Coffee Systems business. This position will serve as the primary interface with Costco and will be accountable for building strategic relationships that deliver consistent and sustainable category-leading growth, revenue, and profit. The role requires high customer connectivity and strategic relationship management. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, disciplined planner, and reliable implementer with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and solve complex customer challenges. The position is located in Seattle, WA with limited travel (approximately 10-20%).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with operational excellence, measured by growth of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop multi-level customer relationships to strengthen category-leading growth plans, selling incremental distribution, merchandising, and winning sales programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Category, and Commercial Teams) to build strategic long-term business plans rooted in consumer and shopping habits while maximizing the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Private Label team on the Kirkland Signature business at Costco.
  • Lead and develop a high-performance team of direct and indirect team members.
  • Present and inspire a clear, executable, and measurable plan with stakeholders (Costco, Internal Leadership, Private Label, and Partners).
  • Track and adjust plans as needed to ensure delivery of the AOP and build for the future.
  • Build team capabilities through continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • 10 years of proven success leading a sales team within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry and recent ownership of a top national retailer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrates high initiative and accountability for their business.
  • Ability to develop and influence comprehensive business strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Robust financial acumen and data-driven decision-making for P&L management.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate with customers.
  • Effective presentation skills to communicate with various stakeholders.

  • Salary range $155,000 - $220,000, depending on experience and skills.
