About the Role

The Director of Sales at Artis Senior Living will drive external and internal sales efforts to achieve and exceed community performance goals, while continuously maximizing occupancy. This full-time role involves creating and implementing effective sales plans, developing referral relationships, providing tours to prospective residents and their families, and supporting the training and development of marketing staff. The position plays an integral role in helping people living with dementia find purpose, belonging, and joy, embodying the company's mission of honoring yesterday and celebrating today. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all external and internal sales efforts to achieve sales goals by modeling current sales systems, including positive modeling of The Artis Way.
  • Lead efforts through face-to-face referral development, including calling on physicians, hospitals, managed care facilities, and other referral sources.
  • Develop, plan, and execute a sales plan that leads to qualified referrals to the community.
  • Coordinate, plan, and efficiently execute external and internal marketing events to reach sales targets.
  • Analyze occupancy trends, market and competition trends, and sales cycle length to determine necessary sales activities for full occupancy.
  • Employ strategies to build stronger, deeper, and more trusted relationships with prospective families by invoking empathy and providing a customized experience.
  • Follow-up regularly with all current leads, including digital leads, and develop new referrals.
  • Train and develop Director peers on the sales process and support the greater sales culture.
  • Train and develop Concierge team members on sales support activities such as move-in paperwork, tours, and marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience within senior living environments.
  • Familiarity with state law and regulations surrounding senior housing and assisted living.
  • Ability to develop, organize, and implement creative marketing strategies.
  • Ability to relate professionally and positively with team members, residents, families, and vendors.
  • Position requires regular and consistent travel within the local market area, with occasional non-local travel.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.

Nice to Have

  • Associate's degree or higher in healthcare administration, marketing, public relations, or business management.

Benefits & Perks

  • Starting base salary of $85,000 - $90,000 per year, plus bonus.
  • Full-time position with Monday-Friday schedule, 9am-5pm.
  • Some evenings and weekends may be required.
